Media catch up task 3-4

Studio 60: The scene begins with a zoom in through the window which transforms into an establishing shot presenting the setting. It then switches to a media close-up of the mans face to show his emotional confusion. The camera focuses on the screen then panning to the left still focused on the screen. At one point a crane shot is used and pan up and then above the man presenting. Several medium shots showing the characters facial expression and body language. The camera angles and shots are roughly similar but from different places (Left/Right) and switch between them quickly giving it a dramatic effect which helps develop the fast paced narrative.

13 Reasons why: Scene starts of with an over the should (OTS) shot sowing all the characters and their faces before switching to the main character at a medium close up showing his face. Long shots are used as the characters wonder through the school with students passing by. The long shots change angle and positions. The scene continues to show medium shots of the character as he talks switching to low angle long shots, back and forth. The use of the dolly cam made it easy for the audience to follow the characters through the hallways as they walk in a collective.
